Joshua started his career as a Speech Language Pathologist in 1997 at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY. Following Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, he went to work for the Early Intervention Program in New York City and began his private practice. Throughout these past years he has worked with a variety of clients, with his primary focus on birth through school aged children.
Joshua’s experience includes working with clients having a variety of special needs and diagnoses including speech and language delays, articulation/phonological processing delays, oral motor issues, Failure To Thrive, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism/PDD, Cleft Lip/Palate, and Lip and Tongue tied. He has worked with children who have been described as “picky or poor eaters”, and who have a variety of related sensory and behavioral issues.
Joshua’s focus has always been on working with the whole child and identifying crucial areas that need to be addressed. He also helps to identify other needs of the child to ensure all areas of development are being addressed. In addition, Joshua always makes sure that the family is thoroughly involved from the moment therapy begins.
His practice will serve clients in their home, school, or other convenient settings.
